The Mercury 250L is a 250HP four-stroke outboard motor built for boat owners who need dependable power on the water. Fitted with a V8, naturally aspirated, water-cooled powerhead displacing 4600cc and running a electronic fuel injection (efi) fuel system, this long (25″) shaft outboard is set up with electric start and digital throttle & shift (dts) control, giving you a straightforward, reliable setup whether you’re heading out for a weekend fish or a longer day on the water.

At 254kg, the 250L is engineered to be light enough to handle on the transom while still delivering the torque and acceleration boaters expect from Mercury’s four-stroke range. It suits offshore centre consoles and larger fibreglass cruisers, single or twin rigged, and is finished in Mercury Black to match Mercury’s current outboard line-up.
