Warranty
information
Warranty coverage depends on the exact motor and brand. Check the product listing and your written order documents for the warranty that applies to your purchase.
A warranty period, provider or coverage is not assumed unless it is stated for the product in its listing or confirmed in writing with your order.
What warranty applies?
New outboard motors may carry written coverage from the manufacturer or its Canadian distributor. The product listing, warranty certificate or written sales documents identify the provider, coverage period, covered components and conditions. Coverage can differ between brands, models and uses (for example recreational and commercial).
A product page or photograph is not a warranty. No additional warranty should be inferred from a general description.
How to ask about coverage
Ask us to confirm the warranty in writing if the listing does not clearly identify the provider, term and coverage. Include the product name or SKU so we can check the right motor.
Contact us promptly at info@stanyersoutboard.ca or 672-702-3000. Include your order number, product name or SKU, serial number, delivery date, a description of the issue and clear photographs or video where relevant.
Stop using a motor if continued use could cause injury or more damage. Do not return or ship it before we have reviewed the issue and given written instructions.
We review the purchase documents and the information you send, then explain the next step under the applicable written warranty. Inspection, repair, replacement or another remedy is available only as provided by those terms and applicable law.
Important information
This page explains how to find and request product-specific warranty information. It does not create a new blanket warranty or change a written manufacturer warranty. Any exclusions or limits must be stated in the applicable product documents.
Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. For questions about a particular motor, contact us before ordering so the answer can be included in your order record.
