About this motor

The Yamaha 8HP portable four-stroke outboard motor (Model F8LMHB) delivers a balanced combination of power, performance, and portability. Featuring a 212cc single-overhead-camshaft two-cylinder design with increased displacement over previous generations, this engine is well-suited for jon boats and inflatable watercraft.

Key features include: Tiller steering system, Manual starting mechanism, 20" Long shaft configuration.

A new shorter tiller handle improves ergonomics and maneuverability in tight spaces. The SOHC two-cylinder design delivers smooth power delivery with reduced vibration for comfortable operation.

Ideal for small fishing boats, inflatable tenders, jon boats, and other lightweight watercraft. Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use with proper maintenance.
